In front of the gorge on Sugar Creek. These small gorges represent the last of the glacial rock formations in the midwest; Starved Rock is another example. It's sad how they've all but disappeared.

The weather was so stable (and gorgeous) that it grew hazy out because there was no wind and rain to push away the smog. You couldn't see a mile down the coast; It was crazy.

Along the trail of Raceway Woods. The whole forest is a reclamation of an old race track that hosted formula one racecars in the 1950's; you can still walk along the old track.
